The Pusey & Jones hardness tester determines the hardness of rubber-like materials on coated drums with a material thickness of 13 mm or more. For hardness measurement, the device can be securely placed on the curved surface thanks to the test stand with flexible support feet. It can be brought into measuring position via the spindle located at the back and aligned vertically using the integrated round spirit level. Initiating the automatic measurement is done by flipping the load lever on the side. The indenter is lowered and weighted with a defined force for 60 seconds. The Pusey & Jones indicates the end of the measurement time with a signal tone and displays the determined hardness value on the screen.
The internal memory can store up to 300 measurement values, which can be exported via the RS 232 interface.
