With the help of the control rings, you can perform a simple yet reliable check of the displacement between calibration intervals. For a reference measurement, the handhled hardness testing device is positioned centrally on the control ring and pressed evenly until the pressure plate lies flat on the control ring. If the hardness tester displays the correct hardness of the corresponding control ring during the reference measurement, it operates reliably within the standard-compliant displacement for hardness range.
The control rings are available for checks of the displacement for 20, 40, 60 and 80 Shore/Asker and are calibrated by us according to DAkkS standards.
