The BaRotation was specifically developed for the routine testing of O-rings. With the test system, it is possible to measure O-rings and other components automatically using the IRHD Micro and Micro Shore A measurement mehtods. Through the laser detection of the specimen, measurement of hardness and, if necessary, thickness measuring are performed at the desired position. It is arbitary whether the test should take place at the highest position or the centered position of the string thickness. The automated measuring process reduces user influence to a minimum.
The automated measuring process avoids manual, time-consuming sample placement and enables unmanned routine testing with reliable measurement results.
Time saving thanks to routine testing
The multiple function of the BaRotation allows generating measured values for multiple samples in one measurement process. One or two measuremets per O-ring are possible.

Experience a seamless adjustment process
When changing the measuring device, it is necessary to adjust the distance between the tip of the indenter and the laser beam. With the BaRotation, this adjustment can be automated at the push of a button, significantly reducing the potential for human errors.
High-precision measuring position thanks to laser
A high-precision laser is integrated to find the measuring position of the sample that is compliant with the standards. The centering of the sample is done automatically and independently of the operator below the measuring device.
Measurements according to differnt testing methods
Exchangable measuring devices enable an easy switch between IRHD Micro and Micro Shore A without tools and with just a few hand movements.
Measurement of hardness and thickness measuring in one system
With the BaRotation, it is possible to determine the thickness in addition to the hardness of the sample. Through the 2-in-1 measurement method, a step in determining or verifying the specifications can be saved.
