Through measurement of the rebound height of a ball after fre fall and impact on a test specimen, you analyze the resilience of polymer foams with our Ball Rebound Tester. The vertical alignment of the measuring device ensures an undisturbed fall of the ball. The minimum strength of the plane-parallel specimens is 50 mm. Thanks to the practical attachment of the downpipe, its resting height can be continuously adjusted to the thickness of the test specimens. The ball remains securely adjusted until the start using a magnetic holder and is manually released at the beginning of the measurement through the handwheel. After the ball impacts the test specimen, sensors determine the height of the rebound. Depending on the selected mode, the electronic unit gathers the individual values as well as the median or average value of multiple measurements and displays them on the screen.
Different measurement modes
To calculate median values or average values, you can choose between different measurement modes according to the standard. Additional Bareiss-specific measurement modes, deviating from the standard, enable additional measurement results that cannot be covered by a standard measurement.
Test stand with supporting table
Scaled downpipe, drop height 500 mm
or drop height 460 mm
