Our story began in 1954 when our company founder Heinrich Bareiss realized his vision for the production of mechanical hardness testing devices in the former court smithy in the historic Herrengasse in Oberdischingen. Since then, we have developed into an international brand with offices in Toronto, Taipei and Shanghai.
