Bareiss Prüfgerätebau GmbH is proud to be recognized as an accredited calibration laboratory by the German Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS). This accreditation is an award for our commitment to the highest quality and precision in the calibration of hardness testers.
As a DAkkS-accredited laboratory, we carry out calibrations according to the highest standards and offer our customers independent, reliable and internationally recognized calibration. Due to the accreditation according to DAkkS in the areas of hardness, abrasion, rebound elasticity, length (control rings, KalRock), reference blocks and non-automatic electronic scales, we are authorized to issue calibration certificates with the DAkkS certificate, which stands for the highest quality standards worldwide and thus enables comparable results.
Our accreditation shows that we always adhere to the latest standards and regulations. In order to maintain our commitment to the highest precision and quality in the calibration of our customers, the accreditation must be renewed every 18 months. In a complex testing process with the German accreditation body, all processes, processes and measuring equipment are tested in detail and standardization is ensured. We are committed to always serving our customers reliably and professionally by guaranteeing the highest possible accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
As the first DAkkS accredited laboratory for hardness in Germany, customers have valued our expertise and reliability since 1996 when it comes to guaranteeing accurate measurement results. While the verifiability of the devices was previously a major problem, Bareiss was the first company to recognize the potential of a combination of manufacturer and accredited laboratory. An elaborately created manual paved the way for the first accreditation; excerpts from it were later used as the basis for the creation of the international testing standard for calibrators according to DIN ISO 18898. With our visions and our commitment, we have shaped the world of standards and continue to influence the standards in the field of hardness testing today.
Laboratory accredited by DAkkS according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. The accreditation only applies to the scope of accreditation listed in document attachment D-K-15206-01-00.

Accreditation is a process in which conformity assessment bodies are assessed and monitored in terms of their professional competence, reliability and independence. This is done through a transparent and impartial assessment by a national accreditation body on behalf of the government, such as DAkkS in Germany. Accreditation ensures that products, processes and services are tested by competent actors and brought to the required quality and protection levels. In short, accreditation is the state examination of auditors.
